they've got a really cool insight here

I'd bet a lot it's correlation, not causation and their theory is just wrong. More likely similar to the way myopia is correlated with IQ.

I'm Jewish myself, and grew up in South Africa under apartheid. So I'm pretty sensitive about these racial issues and the way they can be abused. Anyhow as Larry Summers recently discovered, sometimes it's better to just keep your mouth shut.
