I started out with Summit stock because they had FDA approval before VISX. I dumped Summit at a considerable loss after VISX got FDA approval and then turned around and bought VISX. I sold VISX at a small profit just before the big correction and then bought more after it went down. I wouldn't touch Summit at all after reading the stories about their back stabbing and devious activities. That leaves VISX as the only way to go. I've had RK surgery for myopia and astygmatism and it's great not having to wear glasses after 33 years of having to wear them all the time! It's well worth the cost. This market is still in it's early stages and I'm sure will grow tremendously with VISX leading the way. FDA approval for full use of the VISX laser for high myopia and astygmatism has got to come fairly soon since it has been so successful in Europe and Canada.
