Yes it's a win/lose for individuals, usually a wash for the overall economy. That was my point.

You are tilting against windmills, Don Quixote. The tax system IS pure manipulation. We've been through this on another thread, but if you want we can go over it again.

I'm saying that we should use the manipulation to benefit the middle class and those that aspire to the middle class, instead of the special interests. Use it to get to energy independence (and cheaper cost) and living wages and benefits.

John Galt probably wouldn't approve, but John Galt would probably like the current system worse, and besides he was a fictional character.
