Crash,

The chief of Data Networking at AT&T just left his post to head a start-up for Intl (global) call settlement. This company is being partly funded by T and the executive that left( not sure of his name) is highly regarded by the industry. Evidently, T feels this sufficiently important that they funded a 20% equity stake and pledged support.

The details are on techweb, but there was no information as far as a time line is concerned.

Also, I have been watching Summa four and noticed that they are a fairly small firm and can't understand why DLGC is not partnering with Lucent or Nortel in this market. I can tell you that Newbridge Networks has AIN/CO experience and is using a small affiliate " Vienna" to begin to address this market which is very new. I must confess that DLGC has been light on the partnership front considering all of the market potential. I wish they would begin to establish strategic relationships and develope more closely with the PTSN.
