McCain called O'Neill's group "dishonest and dishonorable" and that's an understatement. Actually McCain called ted Samply the head of "vets against Kerry" the most despicable person he's ever met in his life, and a conman crook to boot. So what if O'Neill debated Kerry on TV? Why should that make him hate Kerry? We can debate each other without hatred? Where did O'Neill's dishonesty and hatred come from? Was he paid off to lie or it just the only thing he ever got noticed for in his life, working for Nixon's dirty tricks team? Why do extreme rightwinger vets hate those who wanted the war to end? Did they enjoy committing atrocities and fighting a senseless war? Are they proud that Nixon and Johnson lied to the public in order to escalate that war into a huge disaster? Apparently so because they refuse to admit there even WERE atrocities which means they're probably the ones who were commiting them in the first place. Can't wait to see Bushies recruit the guards at Abu Graib as their next cheerleading squad.
