I watched the Debate by the Senate on the Energy Bill last night. Frankly, I was impressed with the presentation by Tom Harkin (a Democrat no less) on alternative fuels, basically BIOMASS products. Can someone more knowledgeable then I tell me more about ETHANOL? Is it safe to use in modern gasoline engines? What effect, if any, does it have on rings and seals or other components of the engine? jdn
