i am finding the opposite.. many seem to want to work now until age 70. most of the people i have run into in the last year or two have changed their retirement plans. Those who can retired now have extended their plans till age 70. Money was not the issue but they enjoy the project in work and feel too young to retire.

Most of the people i have retired with in the past ten years are working at least part time. some part time jobs have grown to full time. A few went to work because of market crash, others to get active again.

I think we will find soc sec being extended further out to reduce costs and like wise less early retirements.
