DJ, I need my CDMA realm protected. I don't want China taking over Taiwan by bulk murder, or the "Pearl of the Pacific" aka New Zealand either. I quite like my traditional Kiwi freedoms. China is a repressive realm. Imagine having Yiwu the Mad and Bubba the Bigot as China's Viceroy to NZ. Scary. I'll take the USA or even France! Heck, even Japan might be better [modern Japan, not the pre-WWII version].

I quite like having the USA armed to the teeth and ready to rumble and obviously disposed to do so. They positively revel in it. Look at the posts here - "How to teach good manners = threaten to shoot them in the face in a duel, or at least slap them, or spit at them". When dealing with megalomaniacs like Hu Jintao, Adolf, Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot, Saddam, and on and on they go, the only answer is defeat of them. That takes military horsepower. Otherwise, you have Genghis Khan riding into town demanding tribute, the girls and hacking a few heads until he gets bored.
