Phase 6 underway perhaps. How many phases to go?

I suppose nothing much will happen until November now that the northern flu season is well over. It'll just percolate away until there is lots of sneezing and coughing and the main event can happen.

With mortality down to 30% or so, H5N1 is starting to look like a fizzer. That would mean only about 1 billion dead out of 6 billion. When it was killing 70%, it was looking more scary. There will be lots of people left to carry on with only 30% mortality and that might drop further. We old geezers have had our day anyway. What's a decade or two out of 80?
