Like all sports today. Nothing but the almighty dollar - for the owner, the players and the media who hustle the sport or team. That might be okay if they took some responsibility for their overall behavior, i.e. steroids, drugs, over-pricing etc.

Not enough people stand for principle today. It seems to be me, me, me or win the argument at any cost. There is ample evidence of that on the SI threads.
