I thought this item was interesting: news.yahoo.com It looks like someone has figured out they will have to stop stealing the money if the system is to remain solvent. Either that or they finally figured out the rest of the country has figured it out and it would be political suicide not to stop. The question now becomes, where are they going to go in order to replace the money they've been stealing all along? My guess is that rather than an agressive move to cut the fat out of government spending, they'll work on raising taxes
