NEW PLACE TO PARK CASH (reiteration of an earlier message...just banked our 3rd monthly dividend check with price appreciation of +3% since April 1st - a nice cushion against this market's volatility):

With no near-term end in sight to this chop-chopiness, I've revised my "income" screen to yield a list of tradeable securities that pay dividends, have stable price, and pose minimal danger to principal.

This one rose to the top of the list:

ACM Income Fund (ACG)

Yield: 8.8% annual paid monthly

REUTERS ABRIDGED BUSINESS SUMMARY
ACM Income Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. This closed-end fund is designed to provide high current income consistent with the preservation of capital. The Fund invests principally in U.S. government obligations. The Fund may also invest up to 35% of its assets in other fixed-income securities, including those issued by foreign governments. Additionally, the Fund may utilize other investment instruments, including options and futures.

In the end, trading is all about price and volume.

Happy Trading!
