Moenmac, re: "I'll start giving the other side a listen when they start making sense and stop replaying over and over and over again the John F. Kennedy story."

If you won't listen, how will you know if they're making sense? Will it be when they come around to your point of view that you'll "listen" to them. At that point wouldn't they be your side and not the "other side?"

I listen to the other side. That's the one reason that I post here. I'm not afraid that I'll be too upset or become brainwashed. I'm not afraid that I'll be unable to respond to their views. I don't anticipate that I'll have to attack their motives or attack them personally. I'm confident that I can present a logical case for my views and, if I can't, then I'm confident that I'll change my views because it's not personal, it's about getting it as right as I can.

And yes, the Kennedy worship bandwagon is just plain silly. Even the Republicans try to jump on it but I don't see what he did to merit that kind of adulation. Of course I'm not a Democrat and I certainly don't have a hero worshipper personality. You'll note that Reagan and our current president have something of a cult following themselves. I find that equally ridiculous. Ed
