If it were so, then France and Germany would have eagerly joined the US and the UK in their Iraq crusade.... France and Germany wouldn't have committed a meager 1,000 or 2,000 troops like Poland and Italy. Why? I think you misunderstood what I said [in truth, it wasn't said very clearly]. What I meant was that they are increasing the strength of their military to try and neutralize some of the strength of the American and Russian armies. That would not have meant joining the US in Iraq. ted
