Gulags and Gitmo: Of the 540 people held at Gitmo, 14 are considered "terrorists" People have no defined legal rights at either. People are held in both for as long as the government wants, perhaps FOREVER. People in both are denied legal representation or a defined legal staus. Both are closed and secret, not open to inspection. People in both are denied contact with their families and the outside world. People in either one might have well as just "disappeared". America shouldn't even come CLOSE to running a Gulag.
