Obama is also half black. Which means no chance of winning some key swing states. Not until he proves to the moderate white world that he can be absolutely trusted as a senate leader and race doesn't matter. Or come in as a VP first and prove it there. DEms have no problam taking 90% of the black vote. It's the GOP which is tempted to use a black yes-man type on their ticket. Actually Rice is their only possibility and she is a proven liar.

But by 2016 it may become a no-problem reality for Obama. Look out for Harold Ford too.
