I like Brooktrout. I have found their current fax offerings a little better than Gammalink. The most frostrating aspect of the Gammalink family is that each fax port requires an I/O channel. They claim that you can get 64 ports of fax in a box, but try to find a PC with 64 free i/o ports.

Brooktrouts voice boards are pretty weak. But they just made a play in ISDN, and they have a family of telephony boards in work that should compete nicely with DLGC and NMSS. One of my favorite BRKT products is Show N Tel. It is a very clever IVR app generator. But I don't think that it is a big revenue generator.

BRKT has been hammered. They have recently regained a few points, but it would be hard to predict the movement. They just do not have as strong of a business model as DLGC yet. At $11, however, BRKT could be a tremendous opportunity. I have not made that descision yet.
