You probably meant Copernicus, though Galileo also had his run-ins with the Catholic Church.

Well, no... I meant Galileo, who proved it scientifically with his telescope. We were talking about the limitations of science.

By the way, did you know Copernicus was a firm believer in God and his sovereignty, even in a heliocentric universe? That fact is conveniently dropped by modern-day atheists who have agendas of their own.

Good for him. You keep missing the point. I respect your beliefs and most atheists subscribe to many of the tenets of Christianity. I still think it belongs in your church and not in our schools...nor in government.
