Takings By jkelly I don't often have kind things to say about Sandra Day O'Connor, but she is correct in describing the Supreme Court's eminent domain decision as overreach. I think it is an abomination. Two of the five justices who approved this overreach -- Anthony Kennedy and David Souter -- were Republican appointees. The time is rapidly approaching for Bush the Younger to make an appointment. He'd better be damned certain he doesn't name a squish.
