The tragedy that's well documented and that I hardly see on any media is that a large proportion of the surviving wounded are severely crippled, many of them brain damaged. So body armor and top notch medical care is buying us a lot fewer dead, but most of the wounded are very severely wounded. Enormous human tragedy, that the main stream media hardly ever talks about. I guess it's not very profitable bringing up these unpleasant subjects, especially when most of their audience initially supported the war enthusiastically.
