jack, criteria for choosing an investment is not the same as the products. i use netscape browser and unix os. i stil msft stock. i don't think anyone will switch to NT without doing extensive benchmarks on their applications. I know for a fact, that even after extensive benchmarks and even if NT can perform better then unix, people are not willing to CHANGE unless NT is much better. That is not say sunW is a better investment. I think MSFT is clearly a better long term investment. Sun has to EARN their stock price but Bill Gates has won the wallstreet and when he speaks people listen. Bill is got what it takes to make msft move. this is why i don't care to get into these discussions. (but could not help it this time) ....
