At 42% approvals and falling, Bush is the least popular second term president in modern history. Which means that as 100% of congress are up for re-election next year, very few will feel comfortable siding with Bush on anything. I predict a clean sweep by moderates, tough progressives and Goldwater conservatives (meaning honest and/or non-religious right conservatives). Many of the big fat GOP BS artists with toupees you see on TV now will be gone.
