I did my part for the digital video revolution last night. Bought the Sony DVD player and 5 DVDs. I will give a longer report later in the week, but what surprizes me most is what a totally awesome CD player it is. If you have a good recording, it actually sounds as good as having the band play live in your living room. The only recording I've found that is good enough to take advantage of it so far is the Santana Lotus album, but I've only listened to a few CDs so far. The recording engineers are going to have to up their standards. This CD player is as much of an improvement over my old Sony CD player as that was to a turntable. I never thought I would hear sound this good from a stero.
