Question - can anyone recommend a program that would let me use the Internet to remote-access a family member's PC on another continent so I could fix files, diagnose problems, etc.?

I used a telephone-access remote program years ago and can't remember the name. Today I need a program that lets me take control of the other PC solely via Internet.
