I didn't overstate or mistate anything. I know about the subject and what I posted was true.

"..if large companies make lucrative deals with horrible regimes that oppress their people ..." Much of the third world has non-democratic regimes which oppress their people to some extent. This includes pretty much all of Africa, all of the ME, and China. Is it really correct to rule out investment in any of these countries? I don't think so and don't think you do either.
