China's rule in Tibet is one of the most repressive in the world today. Their treatment of prisoners, including political and religious prisoners, is as bad as it gets anywhere in the world. About a decade ago, China sent slave laborers (prisoners) to build a pipeline in Sudan, another world-champion human rights violator (slavery, racial genocide, etc.) Do you condemn investment in China, whose government is far more oppressive than most west African governments (the primary government crime there is simple graft, corruption, and theft)?
