The article below (in French) reports on Jacques Chirac's rapturous visit to Algiers in 2003. I guess it's something President Bush shall never experience --not even in his wildest dreams.... «Chirac, des visas!» Visite historique du président français en Algérie My French isn't that good but I take it he was there to celebrate independence day for the Algerians. I don't get why they like Chirac so much or is this just French spin? ted
