Ken, I use stockfetcher.com for eod scanning. I have a scan that returns stocks that made a new 52 week high N days ago. I generally use 10 days. What I am looking for are bullish stocks pulling back to around the 20.

The idea is if the 52 week high is the first move out of a consolidation then you can generally buy the first pull back, etc.
