Herr Jaeger, Again, keep in mind my mountain metaphor: each and every religion is but one among many paths leading upward to the mountain's top. Hence I dismiss those of them that claim to know THE ONLY path to the top as hubristic faiths.... That's exactly what I'm referring to. The mountain metaphor requires that you shoehorn all of the other religions into that metaphor. Any religion whose god is too big or too "jealous" to share the spotlight should either be rejected or modified. Hence you can take religions such as Buddhism, Wicca, and Paganism as-is, but Christianity and maybe even Islam would have to be majorly gutted just to fit in. And who's making those decisions? You are. Hence your "mountain metaphor" is just another man-made belief designed to fit God into a convenient little box to be pushed around by man. It's no more valid than my invented "religion" of Kahless, Elvis, and Phil the Prince of Insufficient light, because in the end, they're all just more golden calves to be worshiped.
