Have to share with you all what's so nice about the Country in the mountains of North Carolina.

Essentially a Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings where the local farmers bring flowers, crafts, organically raised veggies of all kinds imaginable and one has to get there by 7.30 am to be able to get the free range eggs, the organically raised broccoli, garlic, kohlrabi, squash, tomatoes, corn, blueberries, lettuce of all varieties, organic mushrooms etc. and homemade breads, jellies etc. There is a gentleman there who makes bowls of wood. Ash,cherry,locust,balsm,cedar.... Just all shapes and sizes.. Another woman makes mail boxes... and so on. Imaginative, creative and all for sale.

The flowers are prolific, the people from North Carolina special, friendly people who speak to one another and will share a recipe at the drop of a hat. I am fixing kale today in a frying pan with garlic and sesame oil. This will be a first...

The next visit after the market is a all organic restaurant where breakfasts are something to behold .. The garlic and spinach omelet is a must... Organic decaf coffee just great. Next door to the restaurant is Stix Boys where all varieties of bread are made daily.

And around the corner The Earth Fare where one goes to get free range chickens, wild Alaskan Salmon and everything else that a health food store would have. I was there too and got some of the salmon. Friends got a whole chicken..

Glorious North Carolina ... If you are a real "FEELIE" and want to feel really great come on up. The temperature this morning was 55 degrees. It will touch a high of 75 today. 3,500 ft. elevation and greenery all around.

Do I make you envious. Didn't mean to. Just sharing.
