FYI: __________________________________________________________________________________ ************** There is more to CCSI than the medical aspect ******** __________________________________________________________________________________ December 16, 1996 CHROMATICS COLOR SCIENCES INTERNATIONAL, INC. (NASDAQ: CCSI) has entered into an agreement with Gordon Laboratories whereby CCSI has granted a license to Gordon Laboratories for its Colormate II Systems and related proprietary technology for custom blended foundation cosmetic products in the Retail Specialty Store Market.** The terms of the Agreement include a joint development of the Custom Blended Foundation System for use by specific Gordon National Retail Chain customers during a six month marketing program. If certain performance requirements are met during this program, the parties intend to negotiate extensions of their agreement for national distribution of the Systems and proprietary technology, which would include exclusive license grants by Chromatics to Gordon in the Retail Specialty Store Market for minimum annual royalties paid to Chromatics from the joint venture in addition to further split of profits based on revenues. Gordon laboratories, Inc. is a 60 year old formulator and manufacturer of treatment products for the personal care market. As a private label, contract manufacturer specializing in skin care formulations, the Company makes a wide range of products for a number of major U.S. Marketers and Specialty Retailers whose products are sold in the leading retail stores and Spa Clubs around the world. Gordon Laboratories maintains a fully staffed development lab and manufacturing facility in El Segundo, California.
