I'm very long here as well. I also view the VEGF trap as the value play here. According to Lehman, there will be a AMD collaboration announced by Q305. I went to the annual meeting and had a discussion with Dr. Vagelos and Dr. Yancopoulos after the meeting. This stock is underfollowed IMO in part due to the uncertainty of trust in management. The manufacturing capabilities of REGN are not really appreciated IMO. At the annual meeting Dr. Schleifer stated that there will be minimal spending on Axokine going forward as he views that oral Accomplia will be a winner and an injectable will have a tough time competing. I disagree with several analysts here, as I think the degree of efficacy will rule more than oral vs injectable delivery. I think glp-1 agonists will have the efficacy if they have the stability and duration of action necessary, as a consequence of beta cell neogenesis.

I really like the relative strength of REGN here, on significant volume. I see a short term run to 12, for what thats worth.

Miljenko, I know you have a very critical eye here of management. What is your current view, and what do you think of an AMD collaboration announcement soon? Do you think that the IL1 trap will ever see efficacy for a large patient population? I think the dosing challenges for achieving higher efficacy than Kineret are not easily attained.
