Short years ago I had an acquaintanceship with an Italian, who served his country in WWII. He came here in 1949. He noted that he'd come here to get away from fascism, but now it was coming to the USA.

Part of fascism, and other socialist variants, is the idea that the individual -- and his property -- exist to serve the state. To me, we are adopting some parts of fascist socialism. back before this country became a fascist, totalitarian state.. is only somewhat hyperbole.

Eminent domain is probably necessary for very limited purposes.
