PB, I think you need to read more about intelligence. Humans aren't all clones. Some are bright and that's that and some aren't and that's that. Education is fiddling around the fringes. If you take a smart child and keep it in a box for several years, feeding it on lead, mercury and cake, you should be able to reduce it to low levels. But you can't take a chimpanzee or a genetically low intelligence child and have it design rockets to the moon, even if a team of you spends all day every day training it.

Races are just individuals added up. Of course they are not all the same, in any respect, other than by coincidence. Most variables will have different averages.

I know it's fashionable these days to pretend that everyone is the same, but so are lots of dopey ideas.

People study a LOT to do well at the SAT [Scholastic Aptitude Test] and they never can. Others do really well when they are twelve and get a couple of hours advice on the triangles and stuff. The Johns Hopkins Talent Search was interesting in that regard. I wonder if it's still going; I'll ask Google. Sure enough, Google knows: cty.jhu.edu

PS: I have 4 offspring, now aged 21 - 28, with a grandchild maybe born today [the phone has gone quiet] so I've had a bit of experience with child development. Plus other experiences.
