QCharts Upgrade Notice

Dear QCharts Client:

The overall amount of financial data available to you has increased
dramatically over the past several years. Shortly, we will be
finalizing updates to our servers designed to meet the enhanced
bandwidth requirements associated with this change. The primary
benefits of this upgrade for you will be:

• Increased server bandwidth to handle larger amounts of data
• More accurate OPRA data and a larger volume of OPRA data
• Decreased overall data latency
• The addition new symbols for the North American Commodity
Exchange (KCBT, MGEX and WCE)
• Increased overall speed and efficiency from the QCharts
application

If you would like to preview this new data feed simply hit CTRL->ALT-
>N simultaneously from your QCharts workspace, and select one of the
following servers from your Router List:

cc-10.sc8.finance.lycos.com (209.202.214.30:23100)
cc-11.sc8.finance.lycos.com (209.202.214.31:23100)

Because the data in the feed has been updated, you will see changes
in the format of certain symbols for the North American Commodity
Exchange, the CBOT and the CME in your workspace. You can still
input your symbols in the format you are accustomed to, however the
results will be displayed in the new format, and historical data
should be available.

For a comprehensive list of the symbols affected and their new
nomenclature, click on the link below:

finance.lycos.com

Note that CBOT data on these test servers will appear in decimal
notation and not in fractional notation as you are accustomed to.
This has been identified as a bug, and Engineering is working to
resolve this issue prior to launch.

Please review the new data feed in our test environment and email us
with any areas for improvement at
help.lycos.com.

If you have any questions regarding these enhancements please email
Technical Support at via the
help.lycos.com or contact us via
phone at 781-370-3456.

Thank you for helping us make QCharts the best it can be.

Sincerely,

The QCharts Product Team
