More boxing commissions are allowing fighters to pick the brand of gloves which are most comfortable to them and I think that's a very good idea. This should greatly help fighters with bad hands. Mayweather knew before the fight the great distance in talent between the two fighters and was telling anybody who would listen. I'm glad he praised Gatti after the fight. I actually thought Gatti landed a few good jabs in the 3rd and 4th rounds much to Mayweather's surprise. Gatti can give it a one more try at 147 however he needs to be matched very carefully. If Gatti stays away from the top boxers like Judah and Margarito, he can make a bit more coin in the game. Vivan Harris looked terrible in getting knocked out by Carlos Maussa last night. Maussa is horrible. All he has is toughness and the ability to apply pressure. Any of the top guys should be able to beat him. He's also a very dirty fighter. The next big fight is Hopkins-Taylor and I can't wait for that one. The more I think about that fight, the easier I picture Hopkins winning. I see the bandwagon growing for Taylor and I think DiBella and Taylor are going to be in for a rude awakening. Bruce
