The less entanglement the better. Christian hegemony in this country has a long, and often oppressive, history- that we now see government becoming less wrapped up with the bible (except of course for the current admin, which has been "religious" to the PR max) is a good thing, and imo is about as far from infantile as you can get. Every suit won promotes the freedom FROM religion, a freedom that the religious (some 70-90% of the country) tend to denigrate, disregard, and demonize.
