This is an interesting article about the balance of power between the Shiites and the Sunni/Salafis. The Shiites have been treated like second class Muslims in Saudi Arabia. The rise to power for Shiites in Iraq has presented a new balance of power. Iran & Iraq now have formidable Shiite governments in place, paving the way for Shiite influence. Ultimately, this Shiite fortress will put an end to the movement of radicalism in these areas.

I hope to see more articles showing the revitalization of Shiite power in the Muslim world.
