I learned of Asensio's report a few days ago, and downloaded and read AVNT's SEC reports yesterday.
Today I learned of their proposed merger with TMAI here, and downloaded their SEC reports (Technology Modeling Associates).
It only took me a minute to find one interesting tidbit, and I'm surprised that no one else here has mentioned it. TMAI's VP for Strategic Alliances & Business Development is named Lung Chu. Guess what he was doing between October 1991 and December 1995? He was Director of the Services Program Office-Japan, and Director of Technology Partnership, for - (drum roll, please) - Cadence Design.
You don't imagine he's a friend of Gerald Hsu, do you?
