Thats another excellent point. It just dawned on me that folks who support the war as is, this administration as perfect and who constantly say stay the course really mean that they dont think the iraqis are up to the task either now or even later. Lets do everything we can to prove these folks wrong by incenting the iraqis to get up to the task by giving them that exit date. Also the fact there is an exit date does not mean we have to bug out entirely. We could still monitor things from the air, from secure kurdish areas, and from bordering nations while continuing supply as well as training in secure areas. Mike
PS It amazes me that with the exception of Nadine who is intellectually far ahead of the average poster, no one else wants to engage on this point.
