Yes Altair, We just have to "declare victory" and get out. Cut our losses. Then write a blank check to a consortium of, maybe a couple of Scandinavian countries plus Canada, India and Japan for them to go in and rebuild the country (Iraq). We can trust them. I don't know for sure. Just a good cross section of nations. There is just too much resentment against the US for us to do it. It's sad but the result there wasn't an unknown. I wrote before the fiasco it would wind up as a Vietnam quagmire and it did. I also wrote about that time we could have kept him (SH) bottled up for about a billion a year with hardly any blood shed on either side. But to no avail. The fervor to go to war was too great with damn near all the people and politicians. I guess they needed a little excitement in their lives. <bng>..
