You could ask that question about any security.
The money goes back into circulation.

Or any revenue for that matter, which I think was the point I was trying to make. It's analogous to the working husband and wife. Who pays the rent/mortgage? You might do a budget book that says the wife is paying it, but it comes out of the checking account so who really knows and could you prove it?
