It just dawned on me that folks who support the war as is, this administration as perfect and who constantly say stay the course really mean that they dont think the iraqis are up to the task either now or even later It might have dawned earlier if you had listened to Gens. Petraus or Abizaid. Of course the Iraqi forces are not ready! You don't create an army and a national police force from scratch in one year in the best of circumstances, which these aren't. And if we bug out before these forces are ready, Iraqi could turn into Lebanon circa 1975.
