I'm conflicted on the merits of that, and would rather see if any political discussions with the insurgents can bear some positive fruit first. I think a stated timetable now would be way to big of a psychological boost for insurgent recruitment. A private timetable stated to the fumbling Iraq government to incent them is fine, and probably has happened.
