I like capitalism for it's ability to incentivise people to work, but the government has a role to protect against the power of huge corporations. Free trade agreements work against the government's ability to do this.

The worst tragedy IMO is a small town that allows Wal Mart to come in, loses a huge majority of it's small businesses and has to subsidize Wal Mart by paying for their workers' health insurance that Wal Mart is too cheap to pay. The the final blow is Wal Mart takes the profits out of the local community. They also buy almost nothing local. It is a complete lose/lose for the community. They get so called lower prices at this cost?
