I never could see paying a scalper for tickets. I just chalked it up to- oh well, another time. Never did the campout thing either, but then Pink Floyd wasn't exactly an option in KS.

I think I've probably seen just about all the concerts I'm ever going to. Cheap Trick was in the area a while back and had we not had tickets for a show this fall (folk music) and reliable transportation, I would have gone to see them again. The first time was the All Shook Up tour, I think.

While there certainly are artists I would have liked to have seen, my greatest disappointment was probably not being able to see Bob Seger and the Silver Bullit Band. I was out in Salt Lake City in '79 or '80, too many years ago, and he was scheduled to play sometime in March or April I think. A friend and I went down to where the tickets were being sold and the line was a block and a half long. (SLC blocks are longer than the standard from what I remember) The show sold out in two hours. I'm not sure he is even touring any more, but even if he is, I doubt he'll make it near the Ozarks.
