"The homeowners were f----ed."

You can't fight (city) silly hall - so you might as well laugh while they kick you out - hehe.

I was gonna invest in the VICEX last year until I heard thier company was getting investigations - boy I won't let that sillyness scare me anymore. Didn't some guy just laugh at sarbanes - oxley after all his acquittals?

In investing, it is useful to deal with what IS,

These are fine fine words energyplay - we can't make a difference to the world no matter how much Raymond thinks we can - so we might as well profit from it - you are going to do very well investing in this world - I see you too have thouroughly studied the ferengi rules of acquisition - Rule #10 - Greed is Eternal. So what calls are you going to buy? LEN TOLL LA-Z-BOY? Secretary snow said some homebuilders were in bubble areas and cramer said he was going to avoid those guys - but the other ones he mentioned were bubble coastal market free! Now I am a dummy and not nearly as smart as snow and cramer - but aren't the bubble areas where you make your money as a home builder? You don't profit much building new homes in Bute Montana compared to South Beach Miami do you?

I have some advice to share back for when you hit that first billion my fellow ferengi - no matter how rich you get - john denver, walton jr. - let the monkey boys test the new "experimental" aircraft - billions don't do much for you when gravity takes hold. I think one of the Bin Ladens forgot this in texas back when General Chen was visiting. Me, I take the bus most places I go, it takes a little longer but hey, I am crazy like that.

This is key - Apple's OS may be better than Microsoft, and AMDs chip better than Intels, but that doesn't mean their stock will perform better.

I am gonna have to side with fellow ferengi MQURICE on this one - apple and MSFT and intel and AMD are just becoming so complex with thier STUFF - and where it use to be a source of great wonderment and joy to go through all thier technical papers so I could snort in my favorite revenge of the nerds geek laugh how I was smarter than the average bear - I just like things being EASIER now. I don't have time for all that now, a little GOOG searching, a little EBAY selling, a tad of email and a pinch of stock trading and most of that over my verizon wireless cell phone with broadband - I have little need for most of the rest of the magic stuff AAPL and MSFT put out.

Phil was recommending MSFT - why he wants to put his GANG into that DEAD STOCK is a mystery to me. As you say, a company is not its stock.

I hear some new ETF's may be coming that track the microcap 10th decile - boy I am excited, everything I have read from DFA and fama and french in the academic finance journals say stick all your money there and watch it grow into the next MSFT - yeehaw!
