Doug, "I suspect HP is okay with it, and I'm almost certain Acer is in AMD's camp." Agreed. I have to believe that HP is more than OK with it. I think HP supports this and executives are willing to testify. HP is just too important to AMD, I don't think AMD would act against the wishes of HP. Good news here: Hurd must also approve, so the HP-AMD alliance is strong. In the end, I think the Intel/Dell alliance was the straw that broke the camels back for HP. Oh yeah, Bill Gates, I have to believe he's on board too. Of course, don't expect him to testify.
