I have never been in a war, a19,

But I can imagine what it is like.. When I was about 3,4, 5, I don't know, I first heard of war, when I learned people actually killed each other over a fight.. I couldn't believe it.. It was probably not that long after learning of "non-live" people, so it was probably closer to three. Like I say, I don't remember.. For all I remember then, my thoughts then were of LIFE..

I guess I write this, because, since then, 50+ years of living, I have NEVER seen that taking a life ever ACCOMPLISHED a damn thing.. Except in a NEGATIVE way.. Including capital punishment, where it just shows young children the only way to settle something is through physical violence, even death.. So IMO, that is the way young people in our society become vicious.. They see "Father/Mother Country" dealing with their problems, both individually and societally through violence.. either Execution or War.. It is SO archaic to me.. BECAUSE a person should just look back a couple of thousand years, to see, we are doing the SAME DAMN thing, as they did, to NO avail.. Is that progress? I don't think so..

It just perpetuates a violent NON MERRY, merry-go-round.

So that's the way I see it.. And I don't think I am that far from the mark..
