I know the executives have said they don't intend a split - but never say never - hehe.

I am sure the new behavioral economists are doing studies why 300 dollar share prices make lots of people go short a stock and lose thier butt - some psychological "walmart" effect on j6p you see - my redneck buddy would buy a 30 dollar stock no matter its valuation long before he would buy a 300 stock that was a great value. Such pyschological factors are not the same issue for big billion dollar fund boys eh?

See if I have a read on Mr. Phil Grande - right now the the big banks and institutions are pumping this stock - but if they are ever gonna offload it onto J6P they are gonna have to have a smaller share price so grandma millie can take her 15 dollar saved milk money and buy some cheap goog with her sharebuilder account. Grandma millie will never get 300 together at one time in her life - but she might save 30-60 bucks one month. gotta slice and dice that baby to pawn it off to the suckers at the bottom of the pyramid eh? So I believe they indeed will have to split some time in the future, regardless of what the great guys running GOOG want.

One of the posters just said a company is not its stock - raymond I believe.
